Artist Venues

Artist workshops will be held in the Community Centre and include pottery, painting, ceramic painting and others. Artist workshops are free of charge.

  Sallyann lives in Golcar and conducts painting workshops from her studio.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Sallyann has worked as a Community Artist for many years and was Artist in Residence at a local hospice for 15 years. Sallyann has exhibited in many parts of Britain and in the Netherlands and France, her work is included in private collections around the world and also in Kirklees Schools Collection.
  
  Sallyann has studied art at Loughborough School of Art and at the Hibernia School of Artistic Therapy. She conducts classes in art and therapy at her home on Town End, Golcar.   Diane paints in acrylics and pastels and also paints on ceramics, glass and silk. She is also active in jewellery making and hand-made card design. On Lily Day she will be holding hands-on workshops in the Community Centre making glass painting on sun catchers, tile paintings and using glass painting techniques on cards. Adults and children will be able to make their own pictures to take away.

  Diane has exhibited at Holmfirth Art Week, Birds Edge Art exhibition and several local venues. Her work is available from Renaissance 2 and on-line at Renaissance2 on-line.
