With the "University
of Huddersfield Big Band" and the "Andrews Sisters" supported
by "Golcar Just Sing Choir" at the Golcar Liberal Club at 7:30
pm. Tickets £10 including supper.

a fly-past by a Spitfire, scheduled for 2:45 pm.
- Golcar Library
will be hosting story telling, balloon modelling, face painting, crafts
and outdoor activities in the garden.
- Golcar Brewery
will host brewery tours, Morris Dancing and book, beer and food stalls
from 11:00am to 3pm
- Golcar Transport
Collection will be exhibiting its collection of 1920s vehicles at its
premises on Knowl Rd
- Colne Valley Arts
Society will hold its annual exhibition in the Colne Valley Museum
- the Golcar Ginnels
guided walk will start at 2:00 pm from the Church gates on Church Street
- throughout the
day music will be provided by Golcar Bands, Marsden Band, Grange Moor
Brass Band, Slaithwaite Band and Huddersfield Wind Band on Jubilee Square
from 9:45 am to 4:00 pm. Golcar Band will play on St John's Vicarage
lawn at 11:30 am.
- at the Community
Centre there will be a street organ and belly dancers.
- Morris Dancers
and stilt walkers will appear around Golcar during the day.
- To get a flavour
of old Golcar don't miss the Guided Ginnels Walk starting at 2:00 pm
from St John's gate.
- Colne Valley Museum
will provide children's activities, story telling and bread making.
- Clough Head school
will perform plays and story telling from 10:15 am
